Liga ng mga Barangay President Alex Abarra Recosana brings with him years and years of experience in local governance and community affairs. A native of Barangay Magsaysay, he began his public service journey as Punong Barangay in 2002, serving until 2010. His deep understanding of grassroots leadership later earned him the role of Executive Assistant on Community Affairs at the City Government of Alaminos, where he worked closely with communities to strengthen citizen participation and local development. In 2024, he was elected as Liga ng mga Barangay President,granting him a seat as an ex-officio member of the Sangguniang Panlungsod.
As Liga President, PB Alex champions the unity and collaboration of barangay councils, ensuring that community-level priorities are aligned with the city’s goals. He continues to enhance his leadership skills through active participation in capacity-building programs, including the Liga ng mga Barangay Convention 2025, the LNB Pangasinan Provincial Congress 2024, and the Barangay Newly-Elected Officials Orientation and Seminar Workshop. His leadership as Chairperson of the Committee on Barangay Affairs reflects his dedication to responsive governance, transparent service, and a strong partnership between the city government and barangays.
Beyond public service, PB Recosana is a devoted husband to Ludilyn Magno and a proud father to Ranjit, Ronalex, and Alex Jr. He continues to live by the values of integrity, discipline, and compassion—principles that guide him in representing and empowering the barangay sector of Alaminos City.
