THE SANGGUNIANG PANLUNGSOD MEMBERS (2022-2025)

COUNCILOR DAHLIA MALQUERIDO DE LEON

∇Chairperson, Committee on Education and Public Information
∇Chairperson, Committee on Labor, Trade, Industry, and Commerce, OFW

Councilor Dahlia Malquerido de Leon is currently serving her third consecutive term as City Councilor of Alaminos. She was first elected in 2019, and since then has taken the leadership of key committees, notably in Labor, Trade, Industry, Commerce, and OFW affairs—advocacies deeply rooted in her own life story. She also became the Chairperson of the Committee on Education and Public Information, where she continues to advance initiatives that uplift the welfare and opportunities of Alaminians.

Her experience as an Overseas Filipino Worker for 11 years in Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Hong Kong, and Taiwan shaped her dedication in supporting fellow OFWs and working families. These years abroad taught her resilience and discipline, qualities that she carried into public service. A graduate of the Western Institute of Technology in Iloilo City with a degree in Commerce, Councilor Dahlia also continuously hones her leadership skills through active participation in Philippine Councilors League trainings and assemblies.

Beyond her role as a legislator, Konsi Dahlia is a devoted wife to former City Councilor and businessman Rany S. De Leon, and together they are blessed with four children—Margarette, Sheena, Ardy, and Tamara. Their family’s real-life journey from humble beginnings to stability reflects her belief that hard work, faith, and service can transform lives. Today, Councilor Dahlia remains steadfast in her commitment to crafting legislation that empowers families, supports workers, and strengthens the city’s future—truly living up to her name as the “Konsehal ng Masa.”
