Coastal Habitats

Based on City Ordinance No. 2009-04, estimated area of the city waters covers around 12,930.74 hectares (City Water Boundary Map). Within the City Water is the coastal habitat that includes the islands/islets of the Hundred Islands National Park with an area of 1,844 has, coral reefs especially along the Quezon Island and Cathedral Islands, coast of Telbang and Victoria with an area of 682 has, mangroves with a total area of about 50.5 has, seagrass and seaweeds of about 10 that is located in barangays  Lucap,  Bued, Sabangan, Pandan, Telbang and Victoria.
